EcoDemand, short for “economical demand,” is a revolutionary concept positioned as an innovative digital platform to connect buyers who are looking to set their own budget for a given product/service, and vendors who are looking for leads. The platform allows buyers to easily enter a product/service description and the price they are looking to pay. Vendors who offer the product/service are notified of the potential customer’s EcoDemand and they then decide whether to sell to the consumer at their stated price.
What is the shipping policy?
For items that require shipping, the cost is stipulated by the respective vendors and added to the final purchase price during checkout. All accepted EcoDemands by a vendor will show their shipping policy and associated cost.
What is the EcoDemand expiration date?
This is the date a consumer sets to get a response from vendors who have an item(s) in their inventory that matches with the EcoDemand and they (vendors) will only be able to respond within that time frame. Upon expiration, consumers can easily re-list (with modification if warranted) from the “Expired EcoDemand” tab.
What is the Mismatched option?
This lets vendors notify us of matches to inventory items they get, for which upon investigation, is not the item the consumer is looking to procure. We use this to optimize our matching algorithm to ensure that vendors don’t miss out on potential customers.
Why use EcoDemand long term?
As the ecosystem grows, there will be more buyers and sellers increasing the speed of accepted Ecodemands. Early members will have competitive advantage with an established profile of reviews and sales data. Also allowed in the future are promotions directly on the app to promote your brand or products.
Are user sessions and data access secure?
EcoDemand supports administrative accounts that manage user roles and permissions. Internet file exchanges are secured with Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) and Transport Layer Security (TLS). Also, accounts are protected with session timeouts.
Where should customer disputes be sent?

Is my payment information secure?
Payments are currently being processed by a secure payment gateway (Stripe).
Where are returns sent to?
Vendors will have information and instructions regarding their return policy for damaged or defective products.
What is the sales and pricing policy?
All sales are final. On EcoDemand the consumers dictates the price; once the vendor and consumer have agreed upon the price, the sale is final and can not be reversed unless both parties come to an agreement or there is a dispute.
What is the “Negotiable” checkbox option?
The negotiate option allows vendors who match a buyers’ listing, to solicit an alternate price; however, they can do so only once. Hence, should a consumer be willing to consider differing prices from their stated price, this option gives vendors the ability to reach out to them for that purpose.
